Profile

I have been working in the advertising/online industry for over 15 years. As a lateral thinker working in these industries has feed my love for the big idea, problem solving and strategy development.

I’ve enjoyed developing a broad range of skills in client management, creativity, technology and media. My career has hit many milestones and roles including desktop publishing, studio manager, graphic designer, art director, online designer, business development, online project manager to online strategist and account direction. The benefit to me ”today” is knowing how to work with “people” from all facets of an agency.

At the end of the day, I want to head an agency (sounds like an evil plot) and to be able to related to all of my “people”, not just executive mates, this I would like to think has to be competitive advantage.

I have a passion for everything digital including websites, gadgets, eDM, Mobile, IPTV, pod/vodcasting, installations to the fast growing of array of delivery platforms. I also can be as passionate about traditional media such as TV, Press and Print. Then I get really passionate over the new and the old being combined together to achieve something exciting and highly effective.

Over my career I’ve had the pleasure of working with some of Australia’s major brands such as ANZ, Telstra, GMC, GNC Livewell, Sportsgirl, Mitsubishi, National Australia Bank, Metricon, Berri, Mitre10, National Stroke Foundation, Aconex, Honda, Honda MPE, Mazda, Shell Asia Pacific, Tennis Australia, Australian Open, Orange, Hutchinson Telecommunications, TEAC and iSelect, to name a few. I’d like to add more FMCG clients to the list in the very new future.

I have run my own design and consultancy business on and off over recent years. I was also a partner in a successful digital incubator in the late 90’s before the Dot Com crash. My roles have allowed me to be heavly involved in the running and management of both traditional and digital studios over my career an aspect I’ve always enjoyed.

As for the future… exciting isn’t it.
